Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available on a contract-to-hire basis in Scottsdale, AZ. This role focuses on dispensing and mail order pharmacy operations, supporting accurate medication processing and inventory management within a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Receive batch tickets and retrieve medications using an alphanumeric system
Pick and process sales orders efficiently
Maintain dispensing and inventory control systems
Accurately scan medications into the system to ensure order correctness
Perform reverse distribution of expired medications
Manage departmental inventory par levels and conduct monthly/quarterly cycle counts
Carefully pack medications using secure methods including bubble wrap or paper
Create, print, and affix address labels on packages for shipment
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management, pharmacist, or shift leader

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required
AZ Pharmacy Technician State License mandatory
Strong basic math skills and attention to detail
Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment is a plus

Schedule:

Full-time position
Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM shifts
