Quality Control Inspector – $25 - $30/hour
Location: Cypress, CA
Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm
We are urgently looking for a Quality Control Inspector for an innovative electronic manufacturing company located in Cypress, CA.
Key Responsibilities:

Conducts mechanical inspections upon receipt of various components, including piece parts, sub-assemblies, and full assemblies. Determines acceptance or rejection based on drawings and specifications. Documents findings across multiple forms and logs, and enters inspection data into an electronic system.

Verifies part numbers and related details of incoming items against Procurement Data, Packing Slips, and Material Certification for compliance.

Performs First Article and dimensional inspections, confirming accuracy using engineering drawings, specifications, and precision measurement tools and devices as needed.
·
Coordinates with Production to validate plating by requesting testing of plated components prior to final acceptance.
·
Manages discrepant materials by documenting issues on Rejection Reports and inputting findings into SAP for review by the Material Review Board (MRB).
·
Collaborates with the Manufacturing Engineer to address and communicate issues identified during the production process.
·
Engages with the Purchasing Department to review and discuss results of First Article inspections.
Qualifications:
·2 years of experience with quality control
·
Ability to Interpret specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to set up, program, and operate CMM to inspect complex parts and assemblies
·
Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 Training, MIL-STD-883, AS9102, MRB process
·
High School Diploma or equivalent required – Bachelor’s degree preferred
·
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and possess basic computer knowledge to perform job successfully
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Must be able to sit/stand for an extended period of time.
