Job DescriptionVIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Mechanical Assembly Technician for a leading organization in Albuquerque, NM This is a Full-Time temp to hire position with a schedule of Monday- Friday 6am- 2:30pm Pay for this position is $20-$25 DOE
As a Mechanical Assembly Tech, you will:
- Assemble large tanker trucks in an outdoor environment
- Assemble mechanical components
- Assemble electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to Tanker truck chassis
- Help and assist maintenance tech when needed
Mechanical Assembly Tech candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Highschool Diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedure manuals and blueprints.
- Basic knowledge of learning and numeral ability
- Have good eye-hand coordination
- Must be able to perform repetitive work and follow verbal instructions
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Able to stand, bend, climb and stoop for long periods of time
- Must be able to use equipment to help lift miscellaneous steel parts, assemblies that may weight up to several thousand pounds
- Must be able to push, pull or drag suction hose on to tanks that weigh anywhere from 10 - 100 lbs.
