Our client is looking to seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety are essential.
About the Role: The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality precision parts while ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or both) according to specifications
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred
- 3 plus years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as needed
