Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team! This role is ideal for someone interested in learning and developing their skills in the plumbing industry. The successful candidate should have a strong work ethic, be eager to learn, be organized, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth. Must be available to work full shifts and occasional overtime.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubes, ensuring safety and compatibility with existing infrastructure
- Operate and learn to use plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)
- Communicate professionally with clients under the guidance of senior plumbers, explaining work performed and recommended repairs or replacements
- Complete tasks as directed, adhering to company quality and safety standards
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Willingness to learn and handle physical work (ability to lift 75 lbs)
- Strong communication and customer service skills, friendly and willing to assist others
- Detail-oriented, focused on quality, and ready to take initiative
- Ability to follow directions and work under the guidance of experienced plumbers
- A team player who supports all areas of our business
- Must be willing to undergo a background check, drug screen, and physical
