Position: Mechanical Assembler
Location: Ewing, NJ

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler that is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing mechanical components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications. This position ensures that all products meet quality standards and production schedules in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Verify parts and materials against assembly documentation and ensure proper fit and function.
  • Perform basic mechanical testing and inspection of completed assemblies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S and safety standards.
  • Identify and report defects, nonconformities, or potential improvements to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly or design issues.
  • Complete documentation such as work orders, inspection records, and production logs accurately.
  • Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
13 years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related field.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
Proficient with hand tools, torque wrenches, and basic measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and assembly principles.
Entry level plumbing experience.
Entry level hvac experience.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to lift up to [50 lbs] and stand for extended periods.
