Imagine this
You start your shift with a safety check, PPE on, and a plan to tackle preventive inspections. A conveyor shows early signs of wear—your diagnostics catch it, your repair prevents a shutdown, and your notes help the team improve the maintenance schedule. Next, you jump into a facility improvement project, collaborating with teammates to fine-tune a pneumatic circuit and optimize performance.
Core responsibilities
- Execute routine maintenance on machinery and facility systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Perform regular inspections to identify potential failures
- Participate in and support facility improvement projects
- Maintain thorough and accurate maintenance records
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician; minimum 2 years in a high-speed industrial environment
- Strong electrical background preferred; certifications in mechanical systems and industrial electrical are highly desired (not required)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and sketches
- Experience with corrugation machines is a plus
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, welders, and torches
- Works well independently and within a team; detail-oriented and a strong problem solver
