We are seeking a friendly and attentive Day Time Server / Waitstaff to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences in a lively dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred, and familiarity with POS systems such as NCR Silver or Square will be highly valued. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems like, ensuring efficient communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Following sanitation and food safety protocols
- Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Support other team members during busy periods, including host/host duties or assisting with sanitation tasks
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards within the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order accuracy
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen support is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to provide guest relations that foster repeat business and positive reviews

Pay is $7 per hour + tips. Tips are given in cash every week. Pay period is every 2 weeks. Schedule is flexible - 2 days a week or all the way up to 6 days a week. Monday - Friday availability is required. Weekend is preferred. We are closed on Sundays. Shift is 1030am - 5pm.
