Service TechnicianWe are actively seeking skilled, dedicated, and motivated Ag Diesel Technicians with a passion for the agricultural industry. This position must be able to efficiently troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various systems of equipment to keep producers up and running to their full potential. A great candidate is an individual who likes to problem-solve, is a continuous learner with a dedicated work ethic and can present themselves in a professional, courteous and positive manner. Follow safety precautions while operating vehicles, machinery and equipment.Provide professional and courteous service and present a positive and professional image of the company.Perform other service tasks as directed by the Service Manager or Service Department Foreman.QUALIFICATONS:Three to five years experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment.John Deere Tech graduate, John Deere Technician experience or Certificate of completion from a mechanical or industrial arts training, vocational school, or equivalent experience preferred.Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.Experience in the use of diagnostic equipment.Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.Computer skills.Good written and oral communication skills.Set of tools to perform equipment repairs and maintenance.Valid drivers license and clean driving record is required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead, regularly lifting 75 lbs without assistance, grasping with both hands, pushing and pulling, working around moving machinery, driving a vehicle, extensive hours on a computer, hearing normal tones, and seeing. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions from extreme heat to winter blizzard conditions.
Pay: $26-$32/hr based off experience
