Position Summary:

The Project Manager will support a Power Delivery team in the Dallas–Fort Worth area by coordinating, organizing, and overseeing project activities throughout the full lifecycle. This hybrid role requires in-office collaboration at least three days per week and involves managing budgets, schedules, documentation, and communication across multidisciplinary teams. The Project Manager will cultivate strong client relationships, ensure adherence to established processes and safety standards, and provide analytical, administrative, and management support to drive successful project execution. The ideal candidate brings substation design and construction experience, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Job Function:

  • Provide coordination, administrative, management, and analytical support for projects.
  • Coordinate and communicate with all levels of management and disciplines throughout the project life cycle to support project cost and schedule objectives, both internally and within the client's systems.
  • Oversee project budgets, review costs, provide cash-flow forecasts, and ensure adherence to planned budgets to maintain client satisfaction and financial success.
  • Document project deliverables, including correspondence, project changes, and project files, ensuring thorough record-keeping.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, developing and nurturing long-term relationships by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring consistent communication.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support future opportunities.
  • Maintain an in-office presence with the client at least three days per week and complete periodic site visits.
  • Follow established processes and contribute to the development of new procedures to standardize project workflows.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and enforce project safety standards.

Education and Experience:

  • Five (5) years of substation physical and electrical design and construction experience.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience in client management.
  • Experience with MS Project, MS Visio, Oracle, MS Dynamics, and/or ProjectWise.
