Job DescriptionVIP staffing is immediately hiring a Soldering Tech for a leading organization in AlbuquerqueThis is a Full Time Temp to hire position. The schedule for this position can be flexible starting at 5am, 6am or 7am working an 8-hour shift Monday-FridayPay for this position starts at $17 and goes up depending on experience
As a Soldering Tech you will:
- Perform Soldering on PCBs (Printed circuit boards) using through-hole and surface mount techniques
- Read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings.
- Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality and adherence to IPC-610 standards
- Rework and repair components as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate output
Soldering Tech's must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 1-2 years of soldering experience in electronics manufacturing
- J-Standard Certified and/or IPC-610 Certification required
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Dependable and punctual with a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
