Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic Installer
Location: DFW Area
Position Summary:
We’re hiring a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to install, fabricate, and maintain sheet metal systems for various construction projects in the DFW Area. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble sheet metal systems, including ducts and vents, based on blueprints and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal using tools and equipment.
- Inspect and repair existing sheet metal systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
- Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and adhere to OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work with project managers, foremen, and other tradespeople to coordinate installations and resolve issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sheet metal mechanic, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using sheet metal tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant trades training and certifications preferred.
- OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong communicator with a positive attitude.

Pay Range: $26 - $32 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead our team in the Austin, TX area. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the sheet metal industry, with a strong background in both shop and fieldwork. This role requires overseeing sheet metal projects, ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and efficient use of resources. The Sheet Metal Foreman will coordinate tasks, manage crew members, and communicate project updates with site supervisors to meet project deadlines effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise sheet metal teams on commercial and industrial projects.
- Coordinate installation, fabrication, and assembly of sheet metal ductwork and other components.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Monitor project timelines and quality standards to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials inventory on site and report maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal work, with a proven record in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Preferred OSHA 30 certification; OSHA 10 required if not.
- Proficiency with various sheet metal tools, duct systems, and blueprint reading.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in the Austin, TX area.
