Job Summary:
As a DSP, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs by assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and fostering a safe, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in household activities, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Facilitate participation in community activities and social events.
• Encourage and assist clients in developing independent living skills.
• Administer medications and document care as directed.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in client condition.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for the role).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a positive impact.
