Our client is a small high-tech company with the most up-to-date optical systems. They pride themselves on excellence in design and manufacture. They are seeking an experienced machinist/operator.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Set-up and Operate HAAS CNC multi-axis Lathes equipped with live tooling and sub-spindle
• Proficient with Manual Machining a big plus
• Produce parts with tolerances up to+0002”/+5 microns
• Read and interpret CAD drawings
• Perform in-process measurements to qualify parts
• Monitor machine functions and maintenance

CNC Machinist Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience performing machine set-up and operation
• Comprehends engineering CAD drawings for CAM
• Background of GD&T
• Knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments
• Experience working in an ISO-9001 environment
