FDOT Roadway Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Technician
· Proficient in the installation, programming, integration and maintenance of the following typical ITS components: IP Cameras and Digital Video Systems, Dynamic Message Signs, Vehicle Detection Systems, Wrong Way Vehicle Detection (WWVD) Systems, Edge-Computing Technology, Emergency Vehicle Preemption, Transit Signal Priority, Adaptive Traffic Signal Control, Communications Networks, Ramp Metering, Ground Mount and Pole Mount Cabinets, UPS Devices.
· Able to perform underground cabling locating and components inventory
· Able to perform basic troubleshooting of both wiring, hardware and software problems
· Able to adjust, repair, replace, and modify electrical components and related parts
· Able to proficiently operate Microsoft Office Suite programs as well manufacturers specific software
· Able to inspect, drive and operate aerial equipment like bucket trucks and manlifts

· Valid Driver’s License Required, CDL preferred
· Willing to work in the elements year round
· Company sponsored CDL available
· Starting wages: $25/hr.
· Sign-on bonus available based on experience
