MATH COORDINATOR
CLOSING DATE: January 15, 2026
PAY RATE: $13.56-$18.99 (Depending on experience and qualifications, with starting wage not typically above the mid-point of the range, $16.27)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday (between the hours of 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm)
Part-Time position: 20 to 25 hours per week (Specific hours to be determined after hiring.)
DEPARTMENT: Lehi Rippy Literacy Center
JOB SUMMARY
Employee would be responsible for coordinating the math program and leading a small group of teachers, under the direction of the program director.
Responsibilities:
- Writing lesson plans
- Preparing and or creating math materials
- Occasionally teaching lessons to small groups of children (K - 4th grade)
- Monitoring and supporting other teachers in the math department
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to interact well with children and redirect, as needed.
- Understand young children and how they learn.
- Interact professionally and get along well with other staff members.
- Provide good customer service and protect confidential information.
- Perform a variety of responsibilities with minimum supervision.
- Must possess a knowledge of various math strategies and be familiar with the Utah State Core Standards.
- Solid background in elementary math concepts.
- Knowledge of best practices and various effective math strategies.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
