Job DescriptionStep into Your Day
Imagine starting your shift in our Ecru, MS facility with a quick scan of system dashboards, checking alarms, and loading the latest PLC revisions. You’ll walk the line, listen for anomalies, and dive into ladder logic when something’s not quite right. By mid-morning, you’re collaborating with engineers to tune a VFD or streamline a sequence on an Allen‑Bradley controller. In the afternoon, you’ll document changes, train teammates on updated HMIs, and schedule preventive tasks to keep uptime high.
What You’ll Do
- Install, commission, and sustain PLC-based controls and peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and correct issues within PLC programs and hardware components.
- Execute routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems.
- Partner with engineering to improve throughput, reliability, and safety.
- Accurately record maintenance activities, change logs, and revisions.
- Coach team members on system operation and troubleshooting best practices.
- Track and apply new developments in PLC, HMI, and SCADA technology.
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or similar.
- Hands-on PLC programming/troubleshooting experience (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens).
- Ability to read electrical drawings and understand control architecture.
- Bonus: Experience with HMI and SCADA platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, precision, and follow-through.
- Comfort working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
