We are seeking a Batch Plant Mechanic to join our team! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery.
*This is for NIGHT shift, starting at 7pm
* Working 40-60 hours a week so a lot of OT offered
Responsibilities:
- Be able to do repairs and diagnoses with little to no supervision, ensuring safe work practices.
- Have a great to exceptional level skillset and knowledge in mechanical repairs and maintenance.
- Welding and Fabrication, etc. know how to perform lockout and tag out procedures, red tag equipment, and make sure to communicate that to Class-1 Techs if needed to be performed, etc.
- Have Good communication with the Shop manager, Dispatch Personnel, and Operations Manager on what our equipment needs are with Parts, Repairs, and Putting Equipment O.O.S ( Out of Service to prevent any additional Failures.
- Help explain and show drivers how to better check equipment, keep it in better working order, condition, and spot problems before failures can occur.
- Troubleshoot batch plant issues on air and electrical systems and perform repairs or replacements of worn /defective components.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Concrete Mixer, heavy-duty, and Batch Plant Repairs and Maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
