Yacht Management & Captain Services International, Inc. (YMCS) is seeking a self-starting, ambitious individual to join our team as a Yacht Cleaner — with the opportunity to grow into a Department Manager.

This role is more than just boat cleaning — it’s an entrepreneurial opportunity within an established, reputable company. You’ll be responsible for both washing/detailing yachts and growing our service base across the Greater Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

Wash and detail yachts and boats (interior and exterior) to company standards
Clean stainless, glass, teak, and varnished surfaces; refill water tanks
Maintain interiors: vacuum, clean mirrors, bathrooms, and restock supplies
Use appropriate marine-safe products for each surface
Document work through phone apps and photos
Interact professionally with existing and potential clients
Distribute business cards or brochures to promote services
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Outgoing and confident in customer-facing situations
Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Experience with cleaning/detailing boats preferred but not required
Comfortable using smartphone apps and camera features
