Senior Resident Project Representative

Phoenix, AZ

Full-Time | On-Site | Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Projects

Looking to bring your field expertise to projects that actually make a difference? We’re hiring a Senior Resident Project Representative to join a leading team focused on the construction of critical water and wastewater infrastructure in the Phoenix metro area.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on-site, communicates with confidence, and knows the ins and outs of construction management, inspection, and contractor coordination. You'll be the eyes and ears of our engineering team—making sure high-quality work gets delivered safely, on time, and on spec.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee daily site inspections and ensure contractor compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct special inspections in areas of qualified expertise.
  • Lead construction progress meetings and maintain detailed field documentation.
  • Review RFIs, submittals, RFCs, and change orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze and provide feedback on project schedules, schedule updates, and schedule of values.
  • Monitor contractor record drawings and maintain the project punch list in coordination with engineers.
  • Evaluate and recommend contractor pay applications.
  • Support start-up and commissioning efforts alongside project teams.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 8–16 years of relevant construction experience—preferably involving water/wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, or pump stations.
  • Proven leadership on construction sites and experience interfacing with contractors and engineers.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, processes, and project delivery.
  • OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain) and commitment to site safety.
  • Solid communication and organizational skills—you're the person who keeps things moving and knows how to document it all.

✅ Bonus Points For:

  • EIT or PE license (not required but valued).
  • Previous experience supporting municipal infrastructure construction or utility projects.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools for construction documentation and schedule tracking.

Why Join Us?

  • Work with a collaborative, mission-driven team tackling vital water infrastructure.
  • Be part of an organization that values field expertise and offers career growth opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits, plus the chance to shape the success of large-scale public works.

If you're ready to bring your boots-on-the-ground knowledge to a team that values precision, communication, and community impact, we’d love to hear from you.
