Stock Administration Manager
USA Remote

  • Preferably, northern california bay area but it can be remote anywhere in PDT. If the candidate is outside of that area you will have to travel quarterly to the santa clara area for a management meet-up; Travel Required: 20%


This Stock Administration Manager will manage the Equity Department for one of our clients. This role will support internal, day-to-day stock plan administration needs in a leadership position, leading a team at one of our global clients, while also participating in the administration of that client's stock plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stock plan administration and management activities
  • Lead an equity team, including coaching, development, and support of team members and their work
  • Customer service to support employee inquiries on a variety of topics and issue-resolution related to equity compensation
  • Manage/Work with industry software (EEO) and vendors to effectively manage our clients' plans
  • Manage/Work with the client's internal and external business partners, cross-functionally
  • Manage and maintain the employee equity database
  • Manage ESPP enrollment, ESPP purchase, and RSU releases
  • Process, track, and update all PSUs
  • Manage Insider List
  • Stock plan financial reporting activities/support
  • Stock plan reconciliation activities/support
  • SEC, audit, and external reporting activities/support, including proxy, Section 16, 6039
  • Payroll/Accounting support, including 1099 data, final audits of journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Participant education and training activities/support
  • Manage communications and communication plans
  • Manage project activities/support
  • Follow, enhance, and/or create policies and procedures
  • Recognize opportunities for enhancement/implementation of best practices & process improvements
  • Assist in various other stock plan projects and initiatives as needed


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5+ years of experience in corporate stock administration with an understanding of business, regulatory, and technical requirements
  • At least 5+ years of direct management experience
  • Solid knowledge of the administration of Stock Option and Restricted Stock products
  • Working knowledge of Section 16, International, Brokerage, Accounting rules and regulations
  • Excellent writing skills, including grammar, spelling, and presentation
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively and efficiently
  • Flexibility to work a non-standard work schedule and adapt to changing requirements depending on client activity
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Extended knowledge of EEO
  • CEP III desired
