Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee construction projects across various locations. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, while managing on-site teams and coordinating with subcontractors, vendors and federal agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and scheduling requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, procurement, and resource management.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and provide solutions to any issues that arise.
- Prepare and maintain construction schedules and budgets, reporting on progress and variances to management.
- Implement and uphold quality control measures and industry standards across all projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in multi-family construction projects.
- Ability to travel weekly Mon-Thurs. throughout the Midwest as required.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- Experience with Federal, hospital and/or commercial construction is a plus.
