ProStaffing is partnering with a leading manufacturer of high-quality centrifugal fans and blowers to hire a skilled Machine Operator. In this role, you will operate and maintain production machinery to support the efficient manufacturing of fan and blower components.
Applicants must have prior machine operation experience and a stable, long-term work history to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery, including but not limited to presses, stamping machines, and CNC equipment, in accordance with safety guidelines and production specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct visual inspections of finished products to identify defects or imperfections and take corrective action as needed.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and efficiency in production processes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with operating various types of machinery, such as presses, stamping machines, or CNC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring.
