Job Title: Swim Instructor, Lead Swim Instructor, Lifeguard
Job Description:
- The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Star Athletics curriculum in a fun and efficient manner.
- Always ensure swimmer safety by enforcing safety rules.
- Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students.
- Provide support from the deck to instructors in the water during rotations.
- Evaluate each student and provide lead instructors with individualized feedback.
- Work with children in a positive and encouraging manner.
- Organize and put away necessary class equipment.
- Attends required/mandatory team meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Successful candidates need to be ex-swimmers or have experience in swimming instructions.
- Willing to learn and execute Star Athletics curriculum.
- Current Lifeguard and CPR certification is a plus.
- Reliable and consistent with work schedule.
- Ability to have fun while working with children.
- Good communicational skills.
- Provide in water lessons for 2 to 2.5 hours.
- Come to work willing to have fun.

- Eligibility for higher hourly rates based on work availability. From $20 to $40 per hour.
- Paid Lifeguarding and CPR certification after 6 months with company.
