We are currently looking for a Millwright for work in Akron/Canton.
Millwright Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance of various types of production equipment, machinery, conveyor systems, etc
- Reads and interprets blueprints, layout plans, vendor installation and operation manuals, and other schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools
- Constructs foundation for machines using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement and steel
- Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs
- Electrical experience with PLC’s and ladder logic is a plus
- Moves machinery and equipment using proper rigging techniques via hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks
- Knowledge of Rigging and tag lines
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Millwright Mechanic Qualifications:
- 5 Years Previous verifiable experience
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
- Must possess the tools of the trade
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- A Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must
