Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming and a deep understanding of HMI systems, ensuring the efficient operation of our automated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automation solutions
- Utilize Allen Bradley and Siemens technologies in control systems
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure performance
- Create and maintain documentation for control systems including AutoCAD drawings
- Work with SCADA systems and ensure integration with existing processes
- Utilize Ladder Logic and Wonderware for system programming and monitoring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in controls engineering
- Proficient in PLC programming and HMI design
- Experience with Allen Bradley, FactoryTalk, and Siemens software a plus
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and VDFs
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and Wonderware
- Understanding of control theory and ladder logic programming
