This position maintains gas meters, regulators and relief valves, RTU & SCADA equipment and related communication equipment, valves and valve operators, gas filters, and auxiliary equipment such as electrical generators in a manner to meet operational needs in compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures.
- Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination
- Install instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities.
- Collect gas samples in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines.
- Participate in partnership safety program and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base.
Working Conditions
- Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Driving, walking, standing frequently.
- Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
