We are currently seeking a skilled Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team as part of our Commercial Lawn Maintenance Division.

Job Description:

Lawn Maintenance Foreman will be responsible for managing a small crew of 2-4 team members and maintaining the grass / aesthetics involved in lawn maintenance. This includes but is not limited to mowing, weed eating, edging with a weed eater and blowing. The role will involve using mobile applications to capture and upload before & after pictures of service visits on a daily basis and documenting features in landscapes that require attention. This role involves driving a company owned full size pickup truck with a trailer containing lawn equipment; the applicant understands our vehicles are monitored and recorded for safety purposes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, enjoy working outdoors through all seasons and playing their part in the growth of Elite Lawn & Landscape as a whole. The candidate communicates well, maintains professionalism in challenging situations and has a positive attitude when faced with adversity in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a crew of 2-3 team members, ensuring their safety, productivity, and quality of work
• Driving a company vehicle, enclosed trailer with lawn equipment inside
• Performing routine lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing and documentation of each service
• Operating stand-on zero turn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, edgers
• Adhering to company standards and procedures, while constantly striving to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our services
• Communicating effectively with management, team members and the general public if approached during a service
• Performing daily equipment, vehicle and trailer inspections and report damage
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with local regulations and environmental guidelines

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial lawn care position
• Proficiency in using landscaping equipment, power tools, and hand tools
• Savvy in using mobile applications to upload before and after pictures of service and following & completing route on a daily basis
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR is audited)
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting heavy items and working in all weather conditions
• Professional experience driving a full size pickup trucks with a trailer
