Job Description
What we are looking for: Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a per diem employee at our outpatient clinic in Carroll Gardens. You will have full autonomy over your own caseload and can choose your own hours.
Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. We’re looking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges.
- Job Type: Per Diem
- Pay rate: $65/hour
- Location: Brooklyn (Carroll Gardens)
- Schedule: Flexible! You will have full autonomy over your caseload.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with BOTH pediatrics and adults populations
- Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
