CNC Machinist 3rd Shift
Pay: $25-35/hr. (Depending on experience level and/or Journeyman papers)
Shift: Sunday-Thursday (11pm to 7am); voluntary OT may be available
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED
- Qualified applicants under a Machinist position will possess PA State Approved Journeyman Machinist or Journeyman Tool & Die Makers Papers
- Must be able to pass a working physical
- Knowledge of G+M codes a plus
- Ability to interpret Blueprints
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a Safe work environment
- Perform setups on CNC machines (Lathes, Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, and 5 axis Mills) safely and productively
- Layout components to verify stock for machinability
- Machine parts to drawing specifications utilizing CNC machine tools such as Vertical Turning Mills and Horizontal Boring Mills
- Edit CNC programs, as necessary
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using math for machining, ensure that components meet the drawing specifications utilizing a variety of inspection tools (micrometers, Vernier calipers)
