* 1 Month Training- 2 weeks of training 1:00pm-9:30pm- 2 weeks of training 5:00am-1:30pm*

Regular Schedule- Monday-Friday 5:00pm-1:30am- With possible Saturday's

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate basic working knowledge of SQF, FDA, PMO, and customer requirements
• Perform a variety of chemical and physical analyses on incoming, in-process, and finished products (Moisture, Total Solids, Fat tests, Salt, pH, residual oxygen, leak detector, and titratable acidity)
• Perform basic microbial plating, interpretation, enumeration, and data entry
• Perform monthly scale verifications and quarterly thermometer verifications
• Identify non-conformances on finished product and places affected product on hold in SAP
• Retest products as needed to determine disposition
• Communication non-conformances on finished product
• Support Quality Assurance manager during regulatory and internal inspections
• Review food and safety documentation and verify CCP and preventive control records for failures

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience working in a lab environment
• MUST be flexible with 1month training schedule * 1 Month Training- 2 weeks of training 1:00pm-9:30pm- 2 weeks of training 5:00am-1:30pm*
• Previous food industry experience (cheese or dairy)
• Knowledge of LIMS software
• Bilingual: English & Spanish
