Job Location: Medford, MA OR Weston, MA (TWO OPENINGS)
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
Requirements: 3-5+ Years multifamily construction experience
Position Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our onsite multifamily construction team. This role is pivotal in assisting the Project Manager in overseeing construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily construction and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating construction projects.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to management.
- Handle scheduling and ensure that all activities are on track.
- Support the management of project budgets and costs to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Facilitate communication between clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Assist in contract administration and compliance with safety regulations.
- Implement quality assurance measures to uphold project standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution.
- Promote teamwork and coordination among site personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in multifamily construction or related projects.
- Strong understanding of scheduling and cost control principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with contract administration and budget management.
- Proven ability to manage risks and develop client relations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
