Work Now Staffing is looking to hire for Injection Molding Set Up for our Carpentersville client.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shifts: 1st Shift - 6:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday

Job Details:

• Setting up the Machine: This involves installing dies, adjusting machine parameters (temperature, pressure, time), and preparing the machine for production
• Operating the Machine: The technician operates the machine to inject molten plastic into the mold, ensuring the process runs smoothly and efficiently
• Monitoring Production: Continuously monitor the production process, checking for quality issues, and making necessary adjustments to the process parameters
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any problems that may arise during production, such as material issues, equipment malfunctions, or quality defects
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintenance: May also be responsible for performing basic maintenance on the equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and making minor repairs
• Documentation: May need to document the production process, including machine settings, production runs, and any quality issues
• Collaboration: May work with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and quality control

Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Injection Molding: A strong understanding of the injection molding process, including machine operation, materials, and process parameters
• Mechanical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Problem-solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems that may arise during
• Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure quality control
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors
• Computer Skills: Familiarity with computer-based monitoring and control systems
