Travel MRI Technologist - Days - Richmond, VA
Location: Richmond, VA
Shift: Friday - Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Type: Travel
Equipment: GE Imaging Systems
Documentation: Meditech EMR
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct MRI scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols
· Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout procedures
· Operate GE MRI equipment efficiently and troubleshoot minor issues as needed
· Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff to provide excellent patient care
· Maintain safety standards and follow infection control protocols
· Work scheduled shifts including some holiday coverage
Requirements
· At least 2 years MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting
· ARRT MRI certification required
· BLS certification required
· Strong technical skills and ability to work independently
· Must be able to work 1 major and 1 minor winter holiday shift
