CNC Programmer/Operator

What You'll Do:

    \n
  • \nAnalyze specifications: Review job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to calculate dimensions, select tools, and determine machine speeds.
  • \n

  • \nProgram CNC machines: Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency.
  • \n

  • \nCNC setup & calibration: Set up CNC equipment, calibrate tools, and ensure proper machine function before production.
  • \n

  • \nTrial runs & adjustments: Perform trial simulations, adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
  • \n

  • \nSafety & cleanliness: Follow all safety standards, wear PPE for the duration of the shift while on the manufacturing floor, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • \n

  • \nCross-departmental support: Assist with other areas of production as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • \n

What You'll Bring:

    \n
  • \nEducation: High School Diploma or GED.
  • \n

  • \nExperience: At least 2 years of experience programming and setting up 3-axis CNC mills.
  • \n

  • \nCAM software: Experience with CAM software preferred.
  • \n

  • \nTechnical knowledge: Strong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes.
  • \n

  • \nMathematics & communication: Solid math skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical details.
  • \n

  • \nProblem-solving & teamwork: Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • \n

  • \nPhysical requirements: Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • \n

  • \nWork ethic: Dependable with a commitment to high-quality, precise work standards.
  • \n

Your Schedule:

  • \n1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00PM
