Overview:

Were seeking an experienced Hydronic Piping / Mechanical Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial HVAC projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role is ideal for a superintendent with a strong background in chilled water, hot water, and condenser water systems someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and takes pride in leading crews and delivering quality mechanical work. You'll be joining a reputable mechanical contractor with a long-standing presence in Texas, known for delivering complex HVAC and plumbing systems for K-12 schools, higher education, healthcare, hospitality, and large multi-use commercial facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation of hydronic piping systems on commercial construction sites
  • Coordinate daily field operations with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects meet code, design specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Track productivity, materials, labor hours, and overall job progress
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, submittals, and project documents
  • Lead by example with strong communication, safety, and problem-solving skills
  • Support startup, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of superintendent or foreman experience in commercial HVAC piping (chilled water, hot water, condenser water)
  • Deep understanding of hydronic systems, pumps, and mechanical equipment
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction schedules, safety, and documentation
  • Ability to manage field teams, coordinate with GCs, and maintain project timelines
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings and specifications
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
