Activity Aide Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>As an activity assistant, you will assist in the planning and implementation of individual and group activities.</li>
<li>You will provide activities for those with special needs (i.e., depressed, terminally ill, bedridden).</li>
<li>You will encourage the participation and involvement of all residents.</li>
<li>You will prepare for and participate in resident care conferences.</li>
<li>You will prepare sites and materials for activities.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
Activity Aide Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>At least 21 years of age (union requirement)</li>
<li>CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to become certified.</li>
<li>Prior experience with elderly patients preferred.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
