Construction Mechanics Inc (CMI) is looking for full time HVAC Service Techs in the Cleveland area. Must have a valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems (residential and/or commercial)
- Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups
- Install and replace equipment, components, and parts (motors, compressors, coils, thermostats, etc.)
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Provide clear communication to customers regarding repairs, options, and costs
- Complete service tickets and documentation accurately
- Follow all safety procedures, industry standards, and company policies
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting
- EPA 608 certification required (Type II or Universal preferred)
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions
