You’ll guide our amazing Club Pilates members through safe, challenging reformer-based workouts that build strength, balance, and confidence — creating a motivating, community-driven experience every time they step into the studio. Club Pilates Brea is a thriving, well-established studio known for its outstanding community reputation and supportive, hands-on management team.
Functions:• Manage Pilates Instructors by performing regular evaluations.
• Manage class schedule with the General Manager.
• Recruit new Pilates Instructors.
• Train new Pilates Instructors on Club Pilates Brea's standards and procedures.
• Manage and coordinate substitutes.
• Provide Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards.• Instruct clients (up to 12 clients per class) using proper form and safe methods on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, hand weights, Exo-Chair, Reformer, Springboard, etc. o ensure a safe yet creative experience.
• May be required to conduct private, semi private, or other additional sessions as needed.
• Visually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use.• Lead Instructor will be responsible for maintenance of the studio, including cleaning floor after each shift and making sure the studio is well-stocked with items needed for the operations of a class.• Participate in networking/community events as needed to help generate new business• Stay up to date with, and implement, Club Pilates education standards at all times• Aid front desk staff with checking clients in.• Lead Instructor will be required to arrive at a set time prior to the beginning of each scheduled class.
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• 450+ hour Comprehensive Pilates Certification
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor Pilates Instructors and Apprentice Instructors
• Comfortable learning and adding TRX, Functional Standing Movement(Barre), and TriggerPoint modalities to repertoire
• Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and attention to safety
• Must be able to demonstrate proper and effective group reformer instruction
• Experience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus based group class
• Passion for learning and willingness to complete continued education trainings or workshops
• Must communicate professionally and effectively to clients and colleagues
• Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills
• Must have excellent public speaking skills
• Must have proficient computer skills
• Punctual and reliable

• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, work with fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
