- Scrub Color: Any solid color\n
- EMR: MEDHOST\n
- Rotating weekends required\n
- Float as needed\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state)\n
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU RN experience)\n
- Ability to float to other hospital units as needed\n
- Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility\n
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills\n
\n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n

- Provide direct patient care to Progressive Care Unit patients following established nursing protocols\n
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment in the PCU\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans\n
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed\n
- Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions\n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using MEDHOST EMR\n
- Float to other hospital units as needed to support patient care\n
