Job Overview:
We are hiring a Residential Drywall Helper for residential projects in Atlanta and surrounding areas. This role requires knowledge of drywall installation, painting, and millwork.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels
- Patch, tape, sand, and finish seams and joints
- Apply textures and finishes as needed
- Installation of baseboards, casings, trims, etc.
- Assists with a range of manual tasks, such as moving materials, cleaning the worksite, operating hand tools, and helping skilled tradespeople.
- Help with the initial teardown and removal of old structures and materials.
- Perform tasks assigned and follow instructions given by the tradesman.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen for this position
- Must have own drywall tools
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
- Steel-toe boots
- 2+ years' experience with residential drywall installation
- 1 year of professional painting experience preferred
- 1 yr of experience with millwork preferred
