Position Summary
The Representative Payee Coordinator performs a variety of time sensitive accounting and clerical duties to maintain and update organization accounting records. Duties include maintaining client records to comply with Social Security regulations, online bill payment, budget monitoring and providing customer service both in person and on the telephone with all levels of job titles. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our corporate office in Chicopee, MA.
Pay Rate: $21 an hour
Open Shift: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm (40h)
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and accurately maintain client personal checking accounts, including budgeting, check preparation, entering recurring payments, and recording transactions in the banking system.
- Respond professionally and accurately to inquiries from staff, clients, and outside agencies regarding client-related financial matters.
- Perform routine clerical duties related to recordkeeping, data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent computer skills required, including required experience with Excel and Outlook.
- Direct fiscal work experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, which include the ability to effectively convey information to others.
- Ability to identify errors and solve problems, as well as manage time and meet deadlines.
- Duties require good customer service skills, visual acuity to written and computer screen data, attention to detail and manual coordination and dexterity in the operation of office equipment.
