We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Technician job in Greensboro, NC. This is a fully on-site, direct hire role. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in quality, ideally with a background in Chemistry. In this role, you will be working a long side a Chemist, checking the production batches against it’s production card measuring PH and Opacity. You will also be responsible for creating safety data sheets for customers and working with vendors.
Responsibilities:

Day to day testing and qualifying production batches

Checking the production based on industry standards, measuring dimensions: PH, Opacity, Grind & Solids

Create safety data sheets for customers

Ensure raw materials are of standard quality

Coordinate manufacturing floor production and activities with quality control and production supervisors

Trouble shoot batches and quality issues

Collect and compile statistical quality data

Coordinate batch and/or Customer issues with Research & Development Lab as needed

Special operational projects as needed and/or directed
Qualifications:
-
2 year Technical Degree preferred

At least 3 years of quality experience

Background in General Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry preferred

Understanding of resins, additives, rheology modifiers

Manufacturing experience preferred

Strong attention to detail

Strong analytical skills
Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
