We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Technician job in Greensboro, NC. This is a fully on-site, direct hire role. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in quality, ideally with a background in Chemistry. In this role, you will be working a long side a Chemist, checking the production batches against it’s production card measuring PH and Opacity. You will also be responsible for creating safety data sheets for customers and working with vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day testing and qualifying production batches

  • Checking the production based on industry standards, measuring dimensions: PH, Opacity, Grind & Solids

  • Create safety data sheets for customers

  • Ensure raw materials are of standard quality

  • Coordinate manufacturing floor production and activities with quality control and production supervisors

  • Trouble shoot batches and quality issues

  • Collect and compile statistical quality data

  • Coordinate batch and/or Customer issues with Research & Development Lab as needed

  • Special operational projects as needed and/or directed

Qualifications:

  • 2 year Technical Degree preferred

  • At least 3 years of quality experience

  • Background in General Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry preferred

  • Understanding of resins, additives, rheology modifiers

  • Manufacturing experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong analytical skills



Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
