Job Title: Welder/Fabricator – First Shift
Location: Taylor, MI | Schedule: Full-Time, First Shift | Industry: Industrial Fabrication & Manufacturing

Position Overview

A well-established industrial services and fabrication company located in Taylor, Michigan is seeking experienced Welders and Fabricators to join its growing first-shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, skilled in MIG or TIG welding, and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of welding experience (MIG or TIG)
Experience working with steel and carbon steel
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow through on fabrication
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
Solid math skills, including understanding of fractional, metric, and decimal systems
AWS certification strongly preferred
Detail- and quality-oriented with a commitment to precision
Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG or TIG welding and fabrication on steel and other materials
Assemble tools and prepare materials for production
Read, interpret, and apply measurements, blueprints, and technical sketches
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
