We are seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to join a growing team and facility in Whitehall! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.
This is a DIRECT HIRE/permanent job opportunity - 2nd Shift Hours are 2:45pm-10:45pm
This role ensures efficient workflow, promotes a culture of safety and quality, and leads a team toward continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a high-performing team; manage work schedules, overtime, time off, and leave requests.

Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching conversations to ensure alignment with business goals.

Deliver clear and timely feedback—both constructive and positive—while documenting disciplinary actions as needed.

Oversee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training efforts to ensure compliance with safety standards and workplace policies.

Act as a liaison between workforce and union representation; manage grievance procedures and uphold collective bargaining agreements.

Review daily operational reports to identify and resolve issues that may impact production, cost, or delivery schedules.

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve maintenance concerns and improve machinery performance.

Support and participate in safety audits and workplace inspections; ensure strict adherence to EHS protocols.

Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and optimize labor/material use.

Coordinate the requisition and distribution of equipment, tools, and materials.

Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

5+ years in a manufacturing or industrial setting or 1+ year of internal leadership experience at a comparable company.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; employment eligibility will be verified. Sponsorship is not available.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage employee relations, and foster a high-morale environment.

Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong understanding of technical manufacturing processes.

Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
