We are seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to join a growing team and facility in Whitehall! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

This is a DIRECT HIRE/permanent job opportunity - 2nd Shift Hours are 2:45pm-10:45pm

This role ensures efficient workflow, promotes a culture of safety and quality, and leads a team toward continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a high-performing team; manage work schedules, overtime, time off, and leave requests.

  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching conversations to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Deliver clear and timely feedback—both constructive and positive—while documenting disciplinary actions as needed.

  • Oversee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training efforts to ensure compliance with safety standards and workplace policies.

  • Act as a liaison between workforce and union representation; manage grievance procedures and uphold collective bargaining agreements.

  • Review daily operational reports to identify and resolve issues that may impact production, cost, or delivery schedules.

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve maintenance concerns and improve machinery performance.

  • Support and participate in safety audits and workplace inspections; ensure strict adherence to EHS protocols.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and optimize labor/material use.

  • Coordinate the requisition and distribution of equipment, tools, and materials.

  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a manufacturing or industrial setting or 1+ year of internal leadership experience at a comparable company.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; employment eligibility will be verified. Sponsorship is not available.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage employee relations, and foster a high-morale environment.

  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of technical manufacturing processes.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
