Title: Lean Manufacturing Project Consultant / Project Manager
Location: Acton, MA (On-site)
Overview:
Seeking a Lean Manufacturing Project Manager to lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and drive operational excellence using Lean tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement standard work across departments
- Lead Kaizen events and drive CI activities
- Deliver manufacturing improvements (cost reduction, OEE, capacity)
- Conduct value stream mapping and layout/safety enhancement recommendations
- Manage Lean/Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, PDCA, 5S/6S)
- Provide regular reporting on CI progress
- Mentor employees toward Green Belt certification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams; support off-shift needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field
- 3+ years project management in a technical environment
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certified
- Knowledge of medical device and drug delivery regulations (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, 21 CFR 820.30)
- Strong communication, organization, and MS Office skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical:
- Ability to stand/walk up to 75% of the day
- Lift up to 25 lbs; flexible schedule for off-shifts
