Equipment Technician – Welding Operations
Kansas City Area | $70K+/+Per Diem | 30% Travel Required

•Field Work (travel): Extended travel assignments, 12-hour shifts, typically 7 days/week during projects
What You’ll Do:
•Keep weld overlay machines running with preventive maintenance & repairs
•Diagnose & fix mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
•Calibrate and test equipment to meet quality standards
•Set up and install welding equipment for major projects
•Travel to client sites for multi-week assignments (30% of time)
•Manage tools, parts, and supplies
•Follow and enforce strict safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
•Must live in the Kansas City area (local + travel required)
•At least 1 year of hands-on work experience (construction or industrial environment preferred)
•Comfortable using tools & equipment in the welding industry
•Willing to work in heavy construction environments (climbing, tight spaces, noisy sites)
•Strong mechanical skills & troubleshooting mindset
•Team player who embraces company culture
