Job DescriptionLooking for someone that works well with their hands, is energetic, and has a desire to learn in a fun environment with good people.
* Removal of worn upholstery and covering, webbing, padding, etc. from workpieces using hand and power tools* Use of power and hand tools, apply and install batting, foam, poly-filler and cut fabric to wooden, metal, or fiberglass framework in the assembly of Boat seats, Automotive seats, RV seats and more* Operate industrial staple guns, nail guns, circular saws, hand tools, cutters, grinders, and other power and pneumatic tools* Examine framework for issues and repair as needed prior to new upholstery application and other finish work* Measure and cut replacement panels of wood, PVC, etc. and assemble as required* Performs other duties as assigned* Cleans and maintains work area* Adheres to all safety policies and procedures* Reads and follows work order instructions and quality methods to ensure consistency and high quality of work* Lifting and carrying sometimes large cushions, chairs, seats, railings, among other things.Job Requirements & Qualifications* Looking for someone energetic who enjoys new challenges and has a desire to learn. Training is available to hone your skills* Prefer at least some experience and knowledge of working with upholstery cutting, stretching and upholstering boat bucket seats, lounge seats, bench seats, chair covers, canvas covers, Bimini tops, etc.* Ability to stand and move about, as required, for up to eight hours per day* Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools* Must be dependable and have the ability to complete duties within given time restraints* Must have excellent problem-solving skills* Must have strong attention to detail with excellent visual judgment to notice errors and/or defects and ensure high quality of work* Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
