Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit Indoor Cannabis Cultivation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the health and productivity of our indoor cannabis cultivation facility. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to lift heavy objects, work in controlled indoor conditions, and perform various tasks using hand tools and specialized equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with plants and have a passion for cannabis cultivation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily irrigation, nutrient delivery, and maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal growth of cannabis plants.
- Conduct regular checks to identify any issues with the cultivation facility and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools to complete various tasks, including pruning, defoliation, and harvesting.
- Operate cultivation machinery, such as trimmers and environmental control systems, to maintain plant health.
- Use basic math skills to measure and calculate quantities of materials needed for tasks.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new cultivation layouts and projects.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis cultivation.
- Maintain accurate records of plant health, growth metrics, and maintenance performed on equipment and structures.
- Collaborate with the cultivation team to create a productive and efficient growing environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience in cannabis cultivation, other agricultural jobs, or relevant education is essential for this role.
- The ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment is necessary.
- Experience with hand tools and basic math skills is required.
- Familiarity with irrigation and nutrient delivery systems and the ability to operate cultivation machinery is preferred.
- A passion for growing and maintaining cannabis plants is required.
