About the Role
A growing organization in the food and chemical sector is seeking a skilled Chemist to support food safety inspection, product testing, and quality control operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‐on laboratory work, problem‐solving, and ensuring products meet strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct chemical testing on finished products and raw materials.
• Perform food safety inspections and document findings.
• Provide technical and chemical expertise to internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Monitor and verify the repackaging of chemical products for resale.
• Maintain quality control for bulk and packaged chemical products.
• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and standards as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (required).
• 2–5 years of relevant laboratory or chemical testing experience.
• Strong understanding of chemical analysis, quality control, and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical information clearly.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
